Designed and built by Joyce Kitchens, this kitchen’s unique aesthetic has been created with an excellent use of colour and eye-catching design. The owner sought a stylish and spacious kitchen designed specifically for entertaining, so it was important for the room to flow from the cooking area into the dining room to create a single, cohesive space. With a walk-in pantry, enormous kitchen bench and an open-plan design, functionality and aesthetic appeal have been achieved throughout this space.

By blending the separate cooking and dining areas into one, Joyce Kitchens completely opened up the space to create a convenient and accessible open-plan design that joins the kitchen with the living area. The kitchen now utilises every inch of space to its full capacity, providing generous room for working in the kitchen, as well as plenty of storage and decorative shelving. Attractive Hettich Imperia handles were used, while the kickboards were finished with ColourTech gloss paint in ‘Ash White’, adding to the kitchen’s outstanding aesthetic qualities.

The aluminium framed overhead cupboards feature stunning milky white glass panels, and have been equipped with soft-close technology. A Caesarstone benchtop in ‘Espresso’ extends from the cooking to the dining area, reducing from 600mm in the kitchen to 400mm in the dining area. This cleverly designed work space allows the prepared food to be placed on the bench in the dining area for serving. Standout elements in this kitchen include the vibrant coloured glass splashback in ‘Vino’, which was fitted by WA Glass Kote. This exciting feature further enhances the appeal of the kitchen and complements the predominantly neutral colour scheme.
